Virtual Meeting Code of Conduct

Argentum is committed to providing an inclusive, safe, professional, and welcoming environment for all meeting participants, including, but not limited to, speakers, volunteers, exhibitors, sponsors, vendors, Argentum staff members, and all others. By registering for and attending Argentum’s virtual meetings and events, all meeting participants are expected to adhere to this Virtual Meeting Code of Conduct.

Argentum expects all virtual meeting and event participants to help foster an inviting experience for all attendees. Argentum has zero-tolerance for any form of discrimination or harassment, and unacceptable behavior will not be tolerated during any portion of Argentum’s virtual meetings or events.

Unacceptable behavior includes, but is not limited to:

  • Harassment, intimidation, or discrimination in any form.
  • Harmful or prejudicial verbal or written comments, or images, related to gender, sexual orientation, disability, race, ethnicity, religion, national origin, or other class protected by law. Such comments or images shall not be directed toward any meeting participant (as defined above), including Argentum staff members.
  • Disruption of presentations during sessions, in the virtual exhibit hall, or throughout the virtual environment. This extends to public and one-to-one chats, Q&A modules, and other areas where interaction is encouraged in the virtual event platform.
  • Presentations, postings, and messages containing promotional materials, job offers, or solicitation for services, unless pre-approved by Argentum. Argentum reserves the right to remove such messages and instances of unauthorized solicitations.
  • Capturing video, audio, or photography of slides, exhibitor/sponsor interactions, or presentations without the presenter/author’s permission.
  • Capturing video, audio, or photography of chat interactions with fellow attendees without that attendee’s permission.
  • Capturing video, audio, or photography of content hosted in the various Zoom rooms.

Argentum will use Zoom and Webinar.net as extensions of the 2020 Senior Living Executive Virtual Conference platform provided by 6Connex. Thus, all rules apply to those technologies as well.

In response to any incident of unacceptable behavior, Argentum reserves the right to take immediate action deemed necessary and appropriate, including immediate removal from the virtual event without warning or refund. Argentum also reserves the right to prohibit attendance, either virtually or in person, to future Argentum meetings and events, including those sponsored by organizations other than Argentum but held in conjunction with Argentum events, on public or private platforms.

If you experience harassment or need to report unacceptable behavior, Argentum asks that you contact Kari Horesky so that we may take the appropriate action.
