The Black Lives Matter movement has resonated within senior living providers, especially as our frontline workforce generally includes a high percentage of immigrants and people of color. COVID-19 has brought even greater poignancy to this topic, with a sudden focus on flexible schedules, access to transportation and childcare, leave policies, safe working environments, and more. This is a watershed moment in our history and our industry.
